Situation
Nitto Denko America, Inc. of Fremont, CA is a unique and multi-dimensional company that needed an exhibit program and solution that addressed the requirements of its 4 different product groups. The company exhibits at a wide variety of different trade shows.
The primary challenge for BA Exhibits was to create a 20'x20' booth that could be easily reconfigured into a 10'x10', 10'x20', and 10'x30'. There were to be eight workstations in the 20'x20' and seven in the 10'x20'. The design needed to accommodate the 4 product groups that would be simultaneously using the exhibit. In addition, BA Exhibits was asked to create a high-tech image that could be modified from time-to-time to accommodate different marketing requirements. Action
- Created a working plan that addressed: image/impact, functionality, flexibility of configuration, price, I&D cost, shipping and future expandability
- Designed workstations that are multifunctional with product showcases on one side and working computer demos on the other
- Designed and incorporated booth graphics to communicate the Nitto Denko message
- Incorporated special digitally printed carpet to support the message that Nitto Denko is a unique and multi-dimensional company
 Results
- The light weight design has reduced shipping and drayage costs
- Increased consistency and impact of the brand and messaging from show to show due to using the same booth in different configurations
- Exhibit program can now easily execute a change in messaging/theme without major cost or brand dilution
